TBT: Old Town, Alexandria Goodbye Photo Shoot with Joffoto

It is hard to believe that we have already been in New York for over 6 months. With time, the missing has become easier and the acute pain of longing to walk down King Street in Old Town has become more of a dull ache.
The other night, Scott and I found the DVD he made as part of his proposal. So of course, we watched it and I was instantly taken back to the moment where I ran down the streets of Alexandria and onto the Waterfront where he was waiting on bended knee. I will never forget that night, just the two of us, at my favorite place in Virginia.
Before we moved, our dear friend Jof offered to capture our love of Alexandria and Waterfront in a “Goodbye” shoot in Old Town. We gladly took him up on the offer, and have been hoarding these photos for months – waiting for the right time to share.
Our DC monuments engagement shoot (check out Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3) has given me some of my favorite pictures of the two of us, but there is such a sentimental note about the photos of Old Town, where we lived first as a couple and where we got engaged. Just love, love, love having these to remember our time there.
Thanks Jof, as always, for providing your time and abundant talent. So happy to have found a mentor in you!
