Scott and I love being part of a small and tightly knit community, and will always jump at the chance to support and promote a local event. So WNY, here is your opportunity to go out for an evening and support a great cause with us.

On November 5th, 2016, the Orleans Community Health Foundation is holding their 23rd Annual Benefit Auction, formerly known as “Treasure Island”.  Proceeds are in support of updates to the Surgical Unit at Medina Memorial Hospital.

Doors will open at 5PM at the Hickory Ridge Golf Resort, and the event will feature live and silent auctions, cash raffles, and of course the Lucky Cork Wine Pull.  You can purchase your tickets online at OCHealthFoundation.org, or in person at 100 Ohio Street in Medina, NY.

The reason we love our hometown is because people rise to the occasion when there is a chance to support each other, and this will be the first of many events Scott and I will attend now that we live back home. $30 isn’t a lot to help support a great cause, and it is sure to be a fun and entertaining evening.
