Now you might be someone who hates the thought of this February holiday, but for all the rest it’s time to put on your planning caps.

Where: Rosa Mexicano

What: 4-course prix fixe menu that includes the Rosa Royale (sparkling cava, fresh pomegranate juice, Cointreau, and agave nectar) along with Rosa’s signature Guacamole en Molcajete.

What: If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day weekend, the “Cupid Concierge” package could be for you. The package includes a personal concierge and will assist guests in making the evening as romantic as possible. Sightseeing, a dinner cruise on the Potomac, a dozen roses, and a bottle of Thibaut Janisson Sparkling Wine could all be part of your package.

What: Couples can order a family-style 4-course menu for $95 a person, or $140 per person with wine pairings. For those looking to extend Valentine’s Day through the weekend, Park Hyatt Washington is offering a “Suiteheart at the Park” package for $449 per night. The package includes an in-suite pot of Lemongrass Wild Rose Herbal Tea along with breakfast for 2 at Blue Duck Tavern.

What: They are offering an a la carte menu that includes a Local Dry Aged NY Strip for two and a Valrhona Chocolate Mousse for dessert. Prices range from $17-$34.
What: Mio Restaurant

What: They’re offering a special 14-course tasting menu at the Chef’s Counter with a Puerto Rican inspired menu. The menu is priced at $150 per couple and includes a bottle of sparkling rose. There will also be a 3-course prix fixe menu for $65 per person.

What: Allagash Brewing Company sour ale dinner ($54 per person or $75 with beer pairings) might be just the thing for couples who enjoy their craft beers. The 4-course prix fixe dinner will be available, but needs to be purchased by the entire table. The seasonal a la carte menu will also be available to diners.
