Coffee, espresso, cappuccino, salted caramel latte, large, here or to-go, sorbet,  pie; no matter what you plan to order or how long you plan to stay after you get it, you’ve made the right choice by walking into Killer E.S.P on King Street in Old Town, Alexandria.

It only took us a couple weeks of living just around the corner before we stumbled upon this coffee shop. After hearing more than a couple times about our need to stop in, we finally found ourselves walking right by the shop on our way to meet friends for lunch. As the door closed behind us, we were immediately greeted by a small dog who found his way around to several tables as we made our way to the front counter. We immediately noticed the interior brick walls and paintings, in addition to how deep the shop actually is.  We ordered our drinks (vanilla latte for Al and a salted caramel for me) and it took one sip to realize this would be a permanent staple in our life.

We all have a coffee shop in our neighborhood that we love to stop in, this is most certainly mine. There are many options on their menu, so don’t restrict yourself to a single item every time. Also, stop and say hi to the 4-legged friends when you’re waiting on your order. We met the beautiful Shelby last time we stopped in, so if you see her she’s the German Sheppard likely squeezed in by her owners.
