As many of you have seen on Twitter and possibly around Old Town, Alexandria today, there are signs asking for help in finding Ben. No no, these aren’t “missing person” signs, but rather a girl named Courtney who feels she missed the chance with the now infamous “Ben”.

Around 2:30 PM today, we received a message from Courtney to help her find Ben and retweet her note. We then started to notice more and more photos of the note, in addition to people starting to question whether it was legitimate or just a hoax. Other than hearing earlier that it was, in fact, an actual attempt to get another chance with “Ben”, how could you not want to help someone out on New Year’s Eve?

Here we are, New Year’s Eve, does anyone else feel like they are in a movie? Let’s all ignore what the story was at the Light Horse on the 23rd, and think about the risk that Courtney is taking on this last day of 2013. We’ve all had moments when we wish we had taken a leap of faith and listened when the little voice said, “just go for it”!  So it’s time to help someone with their jump. New Year’s Eve, 2013, help Courtney get her kiss at midnight.

Many of us have been to the Light Horse, so if you were there on the 23rd and know a guy named “Ben”, let him know Courtney wanted to give him her number.
