I’m a self proclaimed film junkie, and a film junkie can’t have just ONE favorite holiday film.

I have about a dozen. 
There are the typicals – The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, The Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone, The Holiday…
But, there are two movies I look forward to most during the holiday season…
1) It’s a Wonderful Life
This is by far my favorite Holiday Classic. I have been watching this since I was too young to even remember. Every Christmas season I watch it at least 5 times, and the magic is never lost…
The story is about a man who loses sight of the important things in life because the need for money becomes too powerful. He loses control, leaves his wife and children, and then realizes how very beautiful his life was when he didn’t appreciate it. This serves as a perfect reminder…
And then, my #2….Love Actually
 Throughout the year,  I will occassionally scream “Here comes the Colin!!”
This movie is entirely right – everything, from the music, to the script, to the editing, to the acting – the whole thing is just beautiful. 
So, those are my favorite films. And one for good measure…
