The worst thing about having our life in boxes (ok, maybe not the worst…) is that all of our favorite items are packed away and nowhere to be found. We can’t just run to the storage unit in search of a single glass, but if we could, it would be to dig out our Uncommon Green City Maps cocktail glass with DC streets etched all over the glass. Mom gave Scott a set of 4 last Christmas, and we used them every day when we lived in Virginia.

However, I was able to get my hands on something that is just as good, and will help me cheer my alma mater Syracuse University on this fall for Saturday football games or weeknight basketball games. With the help of Uncommon Green’s new CollegeTown Glassware line, you too can rep your school or gift a recent college grad or freshman a set of pint or rocks glasses.

We recently took a trip to the Adirondacks Mountains and were responsible for providing a campfire cocktail one night. We grabbed our SU rocks glass and concocted a rather tasty bourbon drink. Granted, only Scott would take an actual glass to have a camping cocktail, but you have to admit, it does look delicious.

We love bar-ware and so it’s no surprise we look for interesting and unique conversation pieces to add to our collection. Now I can show Scott all of the places I lived while at Syracuse over fantastic autumn drinks. Lucky guy ;)

Check out the College Collection and search for your school – and if you can’t find it, Uncommon Green also offers engraved-to-order pieces so every college can be etched. And if you’re looking for cool gifts, make sure you peruse the site for other mapped products.

Don’t you love the blue and orange Syracuse colors??

So where did you go to school? And tell us – what would you put in YOUR college glass??

Cheers!
