With so much going on the DC Metro area, here are a couple things you might want to add to your calendars.

The Heights has revamped its 80-seat patio and has added comfortable lounge seating and fire pits. This more relaxed, outdoor atmosphere also offers free Wi-Fi. In addition, Chef Kerry Tate and wine director Mallory Finnegan have collaborated to launch a new sparkling and snack section on the wine list, “Bubbly & Bites,” with great offerings both by the glass and bottles from all over the world.

Grillfish has just launched a new brunch cocktail list, as of this past weekend. These eclectic and refreshing summer cocktails can be enjoyed with the current brunch menu (offered Saturdays & Sundays from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm), and on the Grillfish patio. New drinks include the Daydreamer ($10), made with Jalepeno infused tequila, Campari, cardamom bitters and fresh lime and the Rise n’ shine ($9) made with Avion Espresso, Agave cream and chilled coffee. The “Build Your Own Bloody” bar is still available.
