I’m the founding member, and I’m looking for those who can join in the cause for the appearance of Early Christmas Trees.

There is a quite a population who rushes Christmas – and I get it. I really do. It’s always a good thing to take things one step at a time, live in the moment, blah blah blah.

But it’s ok to rush Christmas. And the only reason people do it is because it is the one time of year where people are able to give selflessly and act high on corny music for an entire month.
Not to mention, indulge in pounds of sugar cookies and the like.

If you don’t want to put your tree up before Christmas – rock on. But do me a favor and shut your mouth when it comes to other peoples’ enjoyment of the season. Sounds harsh. But Scott and I put my tree up this weekend and I received a barrage of negativity on Facebook for my early decorating.

So for those of you who need a staunch supporter of your early decorating addiction, I’ve got your back.

My Christmas tree is up. And Scott and I have been playing Christmas tunes and watching Christmas movies all weekend. Most of our reasons revolved around going home for Thanksgiving and being out of town, and then the CRAZY couple of weeks we have ahead of us. This next month will fly, and we wanted to soak in as much relaxation this season as we can.

And finally, my tree and decorations are NOT your traditional red and green color scheme. Therefore, I find it perfectly acceptable to put my tree up early and not take it down until February. :)

I hope all of you are finding enjoyment in whatever rituals and rules you follow during the holiday season, and remember: don’t hate on members of E.T.A.
